About Us

We are the most laid-back way of experiencing the Bocas del Toro archipelago.   If you’re short on time join us for a sunset cruise, but, if you really want to immerse yourself in the best life possible out on the water, join us for a multiday stay.  We’ll take care of everything on board while we cruise you around the BDT archipelago at a relaxed pace.

Forget about the hassle of booking accommodations all over the place, dragging your belongings from one place to the next, wondering where you’re going to eat for dinner, wondering if your accommodations are going to be dirty or loud or have too many people.  Then forget about the hassle of figuring out how to get to the beach, what to bring, will there be toilets, will there be shade, do I bring a snorkel, did I forget a towel… Stay on board with us and you won’t have to worry about any of that.

Imagine your Air BnB floating on the water.  Can be a Monday and we’re anchored just off the Floating Bar.  The sound of live music is summoning you.  Dinghy ride over?  Nah! You’re feeling a little sweaty and sticky from the heat.  What’s better than a dive overboard and casual swim to get you the bar refreshed and in style to catch the action?

Next day you’re anchored beachside sipping a coconut, hiking the trails of Drago, admiring the sea creatures with a snorkel at Starfish Beach or just lazing around under the shade in a hammock onboard taking in the scenery of the anchorage.  Tough life huh?

How about heading up the coast of Solarte where we can get tucked in amongst the mangrove islands and just off the shores of the jungle.  It feels like you’ve entered another world.  You’re immersed in the sights and sounds of the jungle but tucked away offshore with the comfort of the boat and way less exposure to the bugs.  At night, play in the bioluminescence or gaze up at the night sky.  Far away from the light pollution of the town the stars shine bright.

How about seeing some dolphins in an ethical way?  Instead of stressing the dolphins out by chasing them down in a lancha, we’ll head over to the Red Frog anchorage.  We enjoy our day and let the dolphins come to us.   Keep your ears open and wait for the sounds…. “Pffffff!!!”  It’s always exciting to spot the dolphins.  If we’re real lucky, we might even spot a sea turtle.   On the way to Red Frog we’ll pass through “The Cut” which separates Bastimentos from Solarte.  Here you’ll see some of the charming waterfront houses that people have set up on the islands.  Craving some more beach time?  Then head over to Bastimentos and check out Red Frog Beach which is one of the archipelagos most beautiful.  Hike the trails and try to spot the sloths and red frogs.  If you’re up for the walk, head over to Polo beach to lounge on the beaches amongst the picturesque coconut trees…

At some point it’s going to be that time…the time when you need to snap back to reality, get your feet on solid ground and have your senses overwhelmed by your return to the “civilized” world.  It might be rough facing the sights and sounds of civilization…but we’ll help you ease back into it.  We’ll anchor off the charming town of Old Bank on the point of Bastimentos.  Here you can reintroduce yourself to the sights and sounds of civilization.  Stroll through the town, hike over to Wizard beach or if you’re keen to see some more of the underwater world we’ll show you some of our favorite snorkel spots.  If you’re lucky you’ll probably see some big stingrays and nurse sharks.  Get hypnotized by the spectrum of colorful fish you’ll find under the sea here.  How about trying to catch your dinner?  Maybe a little spearfishing is in order.  Or maybe you’d rather go out for dinner. Why not throw on some going out clothes and we can hop over to Isla Carenero in the dinghy and you can enjoy live music at Coquitos or BiBi’s on the beach.  Always a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon having a nice meal, some drinks and a good time on the dance floor.

Please don’t get the idea that we’re doing posh charters.  This is simple living at it’s finest.  Chilling on the water, eating good food, sipping good drinks, enjoying the company of good people and all sprinkled amongst some adventure and epic sunsets and the abounding nature of Bocas.

If this sounds amazing to you, we want to hear from you! Get in touch!
